The exclusive limited-edition Thruxton Final Edition marks the final production run of a British legend in exquisite style.
THE ULTIMATE CAFÉ RACER
Reborn and refined since 2016, the final evolution of the internationally acclaimed Triumph Thruxton shares its DNA with the original racing icon.
THE BIRTH OF AN ICON
The original Triumph Bonneville T120 Thruxton racer played a major part in early motorsport on both sides of the Atlantic, where the first incarnation of this incredible motorcycle was a dominating force right from the start, literally making its name following the first-ever Thruxton 500 race win in 1958.
SUCCESS IN THE SIXTIES
Inspired by that first win, the original limited-edition Thruxton endurance racer was born to compete in the 1965 season. It was an instant success, going on to lock-out the podium taking first, second and third position at the 1969 Thruxton 500-mile race.
THE LEGEND REBORN
With all the hallmarks of a pure café racer, one of the first models to roll out of the then new Triumph Hinckley factory was the 900cc Thruxton, which saw a four-year production run from 2004 - the legend was reborn.
THE ULTIMATE CAFÉ RACER
With Triumph leading the thriving modern classic scene, one machine was notable by its absence. After an eight-year hiatus, in 2016 the first 1200cc Thruxton R hit the showrooms. With an all-new design and more performance than ever before, the Thruxton R created a new performance benchmark for the modern era.
EVOLUTION OF AN ICON
Three years on, the Thruxton RS took the Café Racer genre into new territory with a new name for a new generation of capability. Increased power, improved handling and a specification like no other ensured the 2019 Thruxton RS had peerless performance and the looks to match.
THE FINAL CHAPTER
The Final Edition represents the pinnacle of Thruxton development, celebrating two decades of the Thruxton in the modern era with all the hallmarks of the celebrated Thruxton RS and an exclusive hand-finished design scheme, available for one last production run.
THE FINAL PRODUCTION RUN OF A TRIUMPH ICON
An exclusive opportunity to own a piece of motorcycling history.
EXQUISITE FINISH AND DETAILING
Contrasting black side panels and mudguard set-off the Final Edition’s racing-inspired Competition Green metallic paint scheme, while hand painted gold-line detailing beautifully complements the gold heritage logo and Final Edition seat cowl branding – combining to create a design scheme that blends a celebration of the Thruxton’s racing history with contemporary design flair.
FINAL EDITION
Each Thruxton Final Edition is supplied with an exclusive alternator badge. Featuring a gold-finished surround and ‘Final Edition’ graphic infill, this special part can either be fitted to the bike or simply displayed and admired as a unique tribute to this iconic machine.
Owners of the Final Edition models sold worldwide will each receive an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Featuring the bike’s unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), this document celebrates 19 years of production and is signed by the Thruxton 1200 design team and Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor.
HP BONNEVILLE ENGINE
The 'High-Power’ 1200cc twin-cylinder engine is fed by twin throttle bodies and delivers thrilling modern performance with real character. Beautifully engineered and finished to complement the Thruxton’s heritage-inspired design and with a rich and evocative British-twin soundtrack from twin conical silencers.
CAFÉ RACER HANDLING
Agile and focused, the Thruxton’s sublime handling is the result of sporty, engaging ergonomics and a beautifully-balanced chassis fitted with class-leading suspension from Showa and Öhlins, and braking components from Brembo. Race-spec Metzeler Racetec RR tyres complete this thrilling package.
ACCESSORY COCKPIT FAIRING
The standout item from more than 80 options in an extensive Thruxton-specific accessory range, the cockpit fairing adds even more authentic café racer style, is colour-matched to the bike’s Competition Green paint scheme and finished to the same exacting standards.
