Triumph Factory Racing’s Jordon Smith returned to action at round 11 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship inside Seattle’s Lumen Field, securing 12th place in the 250SX West main event.

Inclement weather threatened to derail the Seattle event, but the SMX track crew worked diligently to produce an immaculate circuit. Timed qualification marked the start of the programme and Smith, who was racing for the first time in five weeks, set the ninth-fastest time aboard his TF 250-X.

The main event proved challenging for Smith; a crash in the first turn left him with a significant amount of ground to make up. This deficit was compounded by a further mistake, but he refused to quit and delivered an impressive ride to ultimately advance to 12th at the chequered flag.

The lap times that he posted en route to the finish were competitive with those in the top five, underlining his very impressive pace. Smith is now sixth in the 250SX West standings.

The next stop of 2025 AMA Supercross, Foxborough, will act as a 250SX East fixture, so Austin Forkner will continue his progression aboard the TF 250-X.

"It was good to be back at the races! I struggled today and didn’t feel too comfortable all day. I was trying to avoid crashes, but I made a few too many mistakes today. Despite the setbacks, I gave my all as always. Luck wasn’t on our side here in Seattle, but we’ll get a couple of solid weeks on the bike and come back strong in Philadelphia."

Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America

"Today was a very rough one for Jordon. Seattle is an extremely hard track to return from injury at, but he showed true strength and resilience to overcome a lack of comfort and keep pushing. Unfortunately, he took Mosiman's tire straight to the ribs in the heat race and had to race the LCQ! The main event included a fall in turn one, but he got up in dead last and was pushing through before a second crash. He ended in 12th after coming from dead last twice. I am very proud of Jordon for never giving up and he will be back to 100% in Philadelphia."
